This seminar is presented by Dr. Laura Riffle (aka The Behavior Doctor) and focuses on the implementation of tier two strategies for classroom management. It will cover universal classroom management (including: group contingencies and group reinforcement, environment considerations and more), tier two strategies (including the Triple T and Triple R chart for changing behavior), and tier three data collection (non-formal) in the classroom. Participants will leave with a repository of ideas for dealing with tier two behaviors.
Participants will learn:
Ten rules that govern behavior
General classroom management strategies
Triple T (Trigger-Target-impacT) and Triple R (Revise-Replace-Reframe) Strategies
Beginning ideas for building a repository of interventions for their classroom
Some of the topics- anxiety, bullying, non-compliance, apathy, argumentative, disorganization, disruptive behaviors, tardy, homework, impulsiveness, inattentiveness, memory, negativity, self-esteem, sensitivity and more
Contingencies and Reinforcement
Using literature to teach social skills
Some content will be repeated from Recharging Your Batteries (June 2018, Peru State College).
