Description | |
TNTP’s The Opportunity Myth (2018), was a ground-breaking study of over 4,000 students and 20,000 student work samples that revealed gaps in our educational systems. The good news is that it also highlighted some success with clear steps, such as ensuring grade-appropriate tasks and engagement. This requires scaffolding up! TNTP educators will share findings from this research and scaffolding strategies from their Student Experience Toolkit. Participants will leave with a plan to scaffold up for particular content in the fall. In addition, a virtual follow-up opportunity will be available for reflection, coaching, and support.
