As promised at the Engaging Ed Conference, I've found a date for hosting a Special Education Policies/Procedures workday! The purpose of this day would be to review sped policies and complete the checklist on the ILCD website, as well as to take a look at each district's procedures to make sure that they align with our practices... or that our practices align with our procedures! (There were several requests for a work day so that people could have time to review and update procedures.) |
