Learn about how the science of reading means for teaching and learning in the reading to learn grades through this 2-part course:
1 - Complete TNTP's self-guided, asynchronous online course (12-15 hours).
2 - Participate in the ESU 4 Cohort Zoom on June 20, 9-10:30 am.
Details:
- Course modules: strong instruction for secondary learners, skills for secondary students, making sense of complex text, building knowledge and vocabulary, evidence-based discussion and writing, High-Quality Instructional Materials.
- The online course will launch June 5. Participants will retain content access for one year.
- Participants are welcome to attend the June 20 Zoom, even if partially finished with coursework.
- ESU 4 is providing this course at cost: $450 per participant
- The course fee and a stipend for successful completion by June 20 will be provided to Title IIa personnel.
