Description:
Get a jump start on planning for supporting the needs of your learners who have Autism. A general overview of needs and interventions for learners who have Autism will be explored including communication, social skills, executive functioning, visuals, and many others. We will look at how these supports vary depending on the needs of the learner. Ideas for supporting learners with more classic needs as well as those who spend the majority of the day within the general education setting will be explored. During this workshop participants will also learn about the services and resources available through the Nebraska ASD Network and how to access these services.
