Description | | Calling all educators!
Join ESU 4 and your colleagues from across the region for curricular learning and collaborative work!
Curriculum encompasses all that we teach and expect students to learn/do (e.g., content standards, corresponding instructional shifts, alignment, curriculum mapping, pacing, unit planning, proficiency scales) as well as the materials and resources we use (e.g., selecting & implementing High-Quality Instructional Materials).
Participants will begin day one learning about a variety of curricular topics and resources. Optional topical sessions for deeper learning will be available at various times throughout the two days along with opportunities for on-the-spot collaboration within and/or across district teams. Otherwise, participants will have devoted time and space to work!
Participants should have access to materials related to specific curricular products they intend to complete, such as course curriculum maps, unit plans, proficiency scales, program scope and sequence documents, or other tools to articulate and organize what students are expected to know and be able to do.
Educators from ESU 4 Title IIa Consortium districts (HTRS, Johnson-Brock, Lewiston, Palmyra-Bennet, Pawnee City, Sterling) are eligible for a stipend ($150 per full day.)
Peru State College graduate credit is available for full participation both days (additional cost.)
