This is a brand new opportunity for educators who are new (or within the first few years) of supporting English Learners.
We welcome everyone who supervises, coordinates, teaches, or supports ELs, and we’ll have specific breakout options for paraeducators. We’ll explore a variety of helpful resources and study EL essentials such as stages of language acquisition, Rule 15, ELPA21, Nebraska English Language Standards, and more.
Join us to build knowledge and start the 2024-25 school year strong!
No fee for ESU 4 and ESU 6 Title III Consortia district personnel; $30 for non-consortia personnel!
Lunch is not provided. Please plan to go out or bring your own.
Teachers, coordinators, or supervisors should work with their District Assessment Contact to access TIDE, the ELPA21 system, before attending if possible.
Paraeducators, consider inviting your supervising teacher to attend with you!
