Prevalence of girls on the spectrum along with the difficulties identifying girls on the autism
spectrum
Characteristics specific to females on the spectrum
What is masking or camouflage and how is is used by girls
Consequences of not identifying girls with autism
Conditions that can co-exist with females and autism
Specialized instruction and strategies to support girls with autism in the school setting
Special Note:
This training will include a panel of autistic females to give participants first-hand insight on how autism effects them during their day-to-day life.
